These terms govern your use of the Terrene House store and your purchase of our products. By browsing this store or placing an order, you accept these terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and our Shipping & Returns policy, which form part of these terms.

About us

Terrene House is a botanical engineering studio based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We manufacture and sell precision-engineered plant substrates and horticultural amendments.

Our products

The specifications stated on our product pages, such as particle sizes, drainage behaviour, ingredient grades, and surface-area figures, describe the product as it is manufactured. Plants are living systems, and their health also depends on light, watering, environment, and care. Nothing on this store is a guarantee of plant survival, growth, or any specific result. Our claims describe what the substrate is, not an outcome we can promise for your plant.

Pricing and payment

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (Rs.) and are inclusive of GST.
• Bundle pricing is tiered by the total number of bags, and the applicable price is shown to you before checkout.
• We make every effort to price accurately, but if a genuine pricing or product error affects an order you have placed, we may cancel that order and refund you in full. We will contact you before doing so.
• Payment is processed securely through Shopify and its payment partners. We do not store your payment details.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept that offer when we dispatch the order. We may decline or cancel an order, before dispatch, in cases such as suspected fraud, a pricing or stock error, or an inability to deliver to your address. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you receive a full refund.

Shipping, returns, and cancellations

How we ship, what returns we accept, the deductions that apply to change-of-mind returns, and how cancellations work are all set out in our Shipping & Returns policy. That policy applies to every order and forms part of these terms.

Acceptable use

When using this store, you agree not to:

• Use it for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to, interfere with, or disrupt the store or its security.
• Copy, scrape, or harvest content from the store at scale, or for commercial use, without our written permission.

Intellectual property

All content on this store is the property of Terrene House and is protected by law. This includes our brand name, the names Mineral Lock and Active Brain, our product formulations and specifications, our photography, illustrations, and written copy. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of it commercially without our prior written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Indian law, including your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them or from a purchase is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always appears on this page, with the updated date shown at the top. Continuing to use the store after a change means you accept the updated terms.
