FROND SOVEREIGN - Soil for Palms & Cycads
Brown palm tips aren't bad luck they're the root zone, and they're fixable.
Areca, kentia and parlour palms, and cycads like sago, scorch at the frond tips for predictable reasons: uneven moisture, soil that drifts sour as it ages, fluoride sensitivity, and hard-water salt buildup. Most of those live in the mix, not your watering.
Frond Sovereign is engineered for this group. It holds steady moisture (lab-tested at GKVK, Bengaluru: 1,600 g/kg, 19.8% porosity), keeps a stable slightly-acidic pH 6.42 via our Active Brain™ system so it won't drift and scorch tips, and is built fluoride-aware for this notably sensitive family. Structure that stays stable across the years these slow growers spend in one pot.
Built for: Areca, Kentia, Parlour, Majesty, Raphis & Bamboo palms; Sago and other cycads.
Lab-tested (GKVK, FAO method): AFP 19.8% · WHC 1,600 g/kg · pH 6.42

What's inside
- LECA fluoride-free structural drainage, appropriate for fluoride-sensitive species
- Zeolite potassium retention for frond development; moisture reserve
- Perlite macro-pore aeration
- Mineral Lock™ moisture film for palm watering cycles
- Microbial Innoculent - moderate nutrition appropriate for palms; does not tolerate richness
- Activated Charcoal 700 IV 700 m²/g adsorption, pH buffer
- Active Brain sodium purge, pH calibration, long-term pH stability
How many pots it fills
One kg bag fills approximately six to seven 4 inch pots and three 6 inch pots depending on the pot size
Instructions
Step 1: Fill the substrate in the pot and tap it to make the substrate settle
Step 2: Water it until you see water drops coming from the bottom
Step 3: Wait for 5 minutes
Step 4: Water it again until the water starts flowing freely from the bottom (This will start the Ph buffering and the EC to come down)

How to use
Pick the mix engineered for your plant family. Each is formulated for specific native habitat conditions.
Fill your pot to one-third with the substrate leaving the cavity of the plant, Plant the plant and fill the substrate completely
Water on first use to activate Mineral Lock and trigger Active Brain pH calibration and wait for 5 minutes
Water the substrate until it drains freely. The substrate self-manages drainage, nutrition and pH for 1 - 1.5 years. No testing required.
