Aroids monstera, philodendron, alocasia, anthurium evolved gripping bark and breathing through airy leaf litter. They were never built to sit in dense, water-logged potting soil, which is exactly what most "premium" mixes turn into after a week: heavy, soggy, and slowly suffocating the roots.
Aroid Alchemist is engineered to be the opposite. It's chunky and fast-draining, so the roots stay surrounded by air after every watering and we can prove it. Independently lab-tested at the University of Agricultural Sciences (GKVK), Bengaluru, it holds 24% air-filled porosity (the airiest mix we make) with a balanced moisture reserve and a stable, hard-water-buffered pH from our Active Brain system. No vague "premium" claim a published number.

How many pots it fills
One kg bag fills approximately six to seven 4 inch pots and three 6 inch pots depending on the pot size
Instructions
Step 1: Fill the substrate in the pot and tap it to make the substrate settle
Step 2: Water it until you see water drops coming from the bottom
Step 3: Wait for 5 minutes
Step 4: Water it again until the water starts flowing freely from the bottom (This will start the Ph buffering and the EC to come down)

How to use
01
Choose your mix
Pick the mix engineered for your plant family. Each is formulated for specific native habitat conditions.

Fill one-third
Fill your pot to one-third with the substrate leaving the cavity of the plant, Plant the plant and fill the substrate completely
03
Water thoroughly
Water on first use to activate Mineral Lock and trigger Active Brain pH calibration and wait for 5 minutes
04
Water as normal
Water the substrate until it drains freely. The substrate self-manages drainage, nutrition and pH for 1 - 1.5 years. No testing required.
